Holotype: NMC 1971-696. Paratypes: (43 adults, 190 larvae) CAS 13567-70 (1, 1, 5, 1); NMW 74956-57 (1, 1); UMMZ 132285 (1), 132860 (?8 of 16); remainder at NMC. See Swift et al. 1993:107 [ref. 22379]. •Synonym of Lampetra richardsoni Vladykov & Follett 1965 -- (Mecklenburg et al. 2002:66 [ref. 25968]). •Valid as Lampetra pacifica Vladykov 1973 -- (Lee et al. 1980:31 [ref. 22416], Page & Burr 1991:23 [ref. 18983], Yamazaki & Goto 2000:8 [ref. 24514], Reid et al. 2011:42 [ref. 31592], Renaud 2011:62 [ref. 31770], Page et al. 2013:48 [ref. 32708], Mateus et al. 2013:46 [ref. 32714]). Current status: Valid as Lampetra pacifica Vladykov 1973. Petromyzontidae. Distribution: Western U.S.A.: restricted to Columbia River basin, Oregon; other populations as cf. pacifica [ref. 31592]. Habitat: freshwater.
