Genus as Sinohomaloptera in caption to Fig. 30; Balitoria as used in the main heading regarded [by W.N.E.] as the correct original genus. Types at RIA 1 [= NCNTTSI] are lost according to Endruweit 2014:144 [ref. 33205]. •Valid as Balitora vanlongi Nguyen 2005 -- (Liu et al. 2012:[2] [ref. 31548], Bhoite et al. 2012:3039 [ref. 32191]). •Questionably a synonym of Balitoria lancangjiangensis (Zhenf 1980) -- (Kottelat 2012:45 [ref. 32367], Kottelat 2013:186 [ref. 32989]). Current status: Valid as Balitora vanlongi Nguyen 2005. Balitoridae. Distribution: Gâm River, Na Hang, Tuyên Quang Province, Vietnam. Habitat: freshwater.
