Types at RIA 1 [= NCNTTSI] are lost according to Endruweit 2014:144 [ref. 33205]. •Valid as Hemimyzon songamensis Nguyen 2005 -- (Kunlapapuk et al. 2012:119 [ref. 32192]). •Questionably a synonym of Balitora kwangsiensis (Fang 1930) -- (Kottelat 2012:45 [ref. 32367], Kottelat 2013:186 [ref. 32989]). Current status: Synonym of Balitora kwangsiensis (Fang 1930). Balitoridae. Distribution: Vietnam (if valid). Habitat: freshwater.
