Holotype: NTM S.10618-001. Paratypes: BPBM 40477 (1); NTM S.10868-001 (1), S.15583-01 (1), S.16036-001 (1). •Valid as Leptachirus darwinensis Randall 2007 -- (Larson et al. 2013:226 [ref. 32988], Pusey et al. 2017:69 [ref. 35250]). Current status: Valid as Leptachirus darwinensis Randall 2007. Soleidae. Distribution: Eastern Indian Ocean: Northern Territory (Australia). Habitat: freshwater.
