Holotype: BMNH 2010.4.14.8. Paratypes: BMNH 2010.4.14.9 (1). •Valid as Psilorhynchus piperatus Conway & Britz 2010 -- (Conway et al. 2013:231 [ref. 32788], Shangningam & Vishwanath 2013:389 [ref. 32820], Shangningam & Vishwanath 2013:[5] [ref. 32903], Kottelat 2013:172 [ref. 32989], Conway & Britz 2015:353 [ref. 33744], Lalramliana et al. 2015:177 [ref. 33814], Conway & Pinion 2016:590 [ref. 34529]). Current status: Valid as Psilorhynchus piperatus Conway & Britz 2010. Psilorhynchidae. Distribution: Man Chaung, Ayeyarwaddy River drainage, Myanmar. Habitat: freshwater.
