Plus additional non-type material. •Valid as Clypeobarbus breviclipeus Stiassny & Sakharova 2016 -- (Hayes & Armbruster 2017:351 [ref. 35417]). Current status: Valid as Clypeobarbus breviclipeus Stiassny & Sakharova 2016. Cyprinidae: Smiliogastrinae. Distribution: Kwilu River, Kasai basin, central Africa. Habitat: freshwater.
