K.] 1986:241, Figs. 1-3 [Bulletin of the Zoological Survey of India v. 7 (nos 2-3) (for Dec. 1985); ref. 9132] Dolu River at Barakhola, Silchar District, Lower Assam, India. Holotype (unique): ZSI FF2159. See Das 2003:350 [ref. 27706] as Pisodonopsis and dated 1985. •Synonym of Pisodonophis boro (Hamilton 1822) -- (Talwar & Jhingran 1991:86 [ref. 20764], Kottelat 2013:47 [ref. 32989], McCosker 2022:128 [ref. 39686] with question, Mohanty et al. 2023:11 [ref. 40223] probably in the genus Ophichthus). Current status: Uncertain as Pisodonophis boro (Hamilton 1822). Ophichthidae: Ophichthinae. Habitat: freshwater, brackish, marine.
