Paratypes: CAS 51781 (2), LACM (35, 19 lots); USNM 247249-50 (1, 1). •Valid as Paraliparis nassarum Stein & Fitch 1984 -- (Stein et al. 2001:400 [ref. 25901], Stein & Chernova 2002:158 [ref. 26234], Chernova et al. 2004:43 [ref. 27592], Busby & Cartwright 2009:245 [ref. 30300]). Current status: Valid as Paraliparis nassarum Stein & Fitch 1984. Liparidae. Distribution: Eastern North Pacific: southern California to Baja California. Habitat: marine.
