Described as Kraemeria sandvicensis in the abstract [ref. 20596] that appeared first but was not included in the main work; K. samoensis was not mentioned in the abstract but included in the main work. sandvicensis, Kraemeria Steindachner [F.] 1906:338 [Anzeiger der Kaiserlichen Akademie der Wissenschaften, Wien, Mathematisch-Naturwissenschaftliche Classe v. 43; ref. 20596] Samoa. Syntypes: (several) whereabouts unknown. Described as a new species in the above abstract, but not listed in the main paper (Steindachner 1906 [ref. 4242] where samoensis was used). The abstract appeared first according to Kottelat (2013). The specific name samoensis is prevaling usage.. •Synonym of Kraemeria samoensis Steindachner 1906.
