Paratypes: MCZ 44870 (21), UMML Argosy coll. 13 (28) [were to be deposited in: ANSP, BMNH, CAS-SU (not found), and USNM]. USNM 369250 [ex UMML] (9). Types apparently not distributed as stated. •Valid as Arcos decoris Briggs 1969 -- (Allen & Robertson 1994:85 [ref. 22193], Béarez et al. 2008:478 [ref. 32869]). Current status: Valid as Arcos decoris Briggs 1969. Gobiesocidae: Gobiesocinae. Distribution: Eastern Pacific. Habitat: marine.
