Also appeared in Günther 1864:229 [ref. 1976]. •Valid as Arcos rhodospilus (Günther 1864) -- (Briggs 1955:83 [ref. 637], Allen & Robertson 1994:86 [ref. 22193], González-Murcia et al. 2019:295 [ref. 36544]). Current status: Valid as Arcos rhodospilus (Günther 1864). Gobiesocidae: Gobiesocinae. Distribution: Eastern Pacific. Habitat: marine.
