Original genus should have been Bollmannia. •Valid as Bollmannia litura Ginsburg 1935 -- (Murdy & Hoese 2003:1793 [ref. 27111], Dennis et al. 2004:81 [ref. 31601], McEachran & Fechhelm 2005:676 [ref. 28815], Van Tassell 2011:167 [ref. 31732], Van Tassell et al. 2012:84 [ref. 31948]). Current status: Valid as Bollmannia litura Ginsburg 1935. Gobiidae: Gobiinae. Distribution: Western Atlantic. Habitat: marine.
