Holotype: USNM 107290 [ex USNM 41395]. Paratypes: whereabouts unknown. Original genus should have been Bollmannia. •Valid as Bollmannia umbrosa Ginsburg 1939 -- (Allen & Robertson 1994:259 [ref. 22193], Hoese in Fischer et al. 1995:1134 [ref. 22829], Nelson et al. 2004:170 [ref. 27807], Van Tassell 2011:167 [ref. 31732], Page et al. 2013:175 [ref. 32708]). Current status: Valid as Bollmannia umbrosa Ginsburg 1939. Gobiidae: Gobiinae. Distribution: Eastern Pacific: Gulf of California to Colombia. Habitat: marine.
