Holotype: SIO 59-215-61A. Paratypes: SIO 59-215-61B (2), 61-227-61B (2), 61-233-61B (2), 6-242-61B (5), 61-249-61B (8), 61-272-61B (2), 61-277-61B (1); USNM 196704 [ex SIO 61-252] (2). Type catalog: Springer & Orrell 1996:7 [ref. 22274]. •Valid as Protemblemaria lucasana Stephens 1963 -- (Allen & Robertson 1994:249 [ref. 22193], Hastings in Fischer et al. 1995:999 [ref. 22829]). •Valid as Cirriemblemaria lucasana (Stephens 1963) -- (Hastings 1997:758 [ref. 23518], Thomson et al. 2000:223 [ref. 25640], Hastings 2001:128 [ref. 25781], Nelson et al. 2004:165 [ref. 27807], Love et al. 2005:157 [ref. 37547], Patzner et al. 2009:469 [ref. 30396]). •Valid as Coralliozetus lucasana (Stephens 1963) -- (De La Cruz Agüero et al. 1997:98 [ref. 24545], Page et al. 2013:171 [ref. 32708]). Current status: Valid as Cirriemblemaria lucasana (Stephens 1963). Chaenopsidae. Distribution: Eastern Pacific: Pacific coast of southern Baja California Sur (Mexico) south to southern Mexico, including southern and central Gulf of California (Mexico). Habitat: marine.
