Current status: Valid as Gobiosoma grosvenori (Robins 1964). Gobiidae: Gobiinae. Distribution: Western Atlantic: southern Florida (U.S.A.) and Bahamas south to Venezuela, including southern Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean Sea. IUCN (2015): Least Concern. Habitat: marine.
