Correct spelling of species is bimaculatus. •Valid as Lepidonectes bimaculata Allen & Robertson 1992 -- (Allen & Robertson 1994:222 [ref. 22193], Fricke 1997:582 [ref. 23339], Patzner et al. 2009:448 [ref. 30396]). •Valid as Lepidonectes bimaculatus Allen & Robertson 1992 -- (Fricke 2009:34 [ref. 30394]). Current status: Valid as Lepidonectes bimaculatus Allen & Robertson 1992. Tripterygiidae: Tripterygiinae. Distribution: Pacific coast of Colombia. Habitat: marine.
