Gobiidae: Microdesminae. Distribution: Eastern Pacific. Habitat: marine. dipus, Microdesmus Günther [A.] 1864:26, Pl. 3 (fig. 2) [Proceedings of the Zoological Society of London 1864 (pt 1) (art. 4) (for 26 Jan. 1864); ref. 5752] Pacific coast of Panama. Holotype (unique): BMNH 1863.12.16.44 (poor condition). Distribution: Eastern Pacific: Mexico south to Panama, including southern Gulf of California (Mexico) and Galapagos Islands (Ecuador). IUCN (2010): Data Deficient. Habitat: brackish, marine. |
