Paratypes: BMNH 1980.9.5.36 [ex SIO]; SIO 64-43 (1), 64-45 (2), 64-52 (1), 64-61 (4); USNM 204259 [ex SIO 64-56] (3). Type catalog: Springer & Orrell 1996:20 [ref. 22274]. •Valid as Paraclinus magdalenae Rosenblatt & Parr 1969 -- (Hastings in Fischer et al. 1995:1014 [ref. 22829], Nelson et al. 2004:164 [ref. 27807], Love et al. 2005:155 [ref. 37547], Patzner et al. 2009:464 [ref. 30396], Page et al. 2013:170 [ref. 32708], Love et al. 2021:199 [ref. 39279]). Current status: Valid as Paraclinus magdalenae Rosenblatt & Parr 1969. Labrisomidae. Distribution: Eastern Pacific: Pacific coast of southern Baja California Sur (Mexico) endemic. Habitat: marine.
