Paratypes: SIO 65-329 (3). •Valid as Starksia hoesei Rosenblatt & Taylor 1971 -- (Hastings in Fischer et al. 1995:1014 [ref. 22829], Thomson et al. 2000:218 [ref. 25640], Nelson et al. 2004:164 [ref. 27807], Patzner et al. 2009:464 [ref. 30396], Page et al. 2013:170 [ref. 32708]). Current status: Valid as Starksia hoesei Rosenblatt & Taylor 1971. Labrisomidae. Distribution: Eastern Pacific. Habitat: marine.
