Current status: Valid as Brama myersi Mead 1972. Bramidae. Distribution: Indo-West Pacific: East Africa (Tanzania) east to Hawaiian Islands (U.S.A.), north to southern Japan, south to Kermadec Islands. Habitat: marine.
