Type catalog: Ferraris 2007:324 [ref. 29155], Ng & Kim 2008:45 [ref. 29920]. •Valid as Helicophagus leptorhynchus Ng & Kottelat 2000 -- (Kottelat 2001:130 [ref. 25780], Gustiano 2003:47 [ref. 31337], Ferraris 2007:324 [ref. 29155], Kottelat 2013:253 [ref. 32989], Taki et al. 2021:260 [ref. 39830]). Current status: Valid as Helicophagus leptorhynchus Ng & Kottelat 2000. Pangasiidae. Distribution: Southeast Asia: Mekong and Chao Phraya River basins, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam. Habitat: freshwater.
