| Collecting Event Remarks | Water temp. = ? C. A few small groups of sticklebacks at boat ramp in shallows, not visible elsewhere. Rainbow trout in area. Loon and grebe on lake. Pulled traps at 19 June at about 1300 hr. Lots of stickleback present in first 3 traps. Gravid females and nuptial males will be taken for crosses-about 10 of each. Nuptial males rare, but fish in every trap so far. I preserved one bottle full in formalin. I eventually got 6 males and 20 females. I released about 1/2 of fish caught. No fry present and fish appear to form one size class. | ||||||
