m, f, juveniles. Fixed in 10% buffered (dolomite) formalin ~1 month. |
Collecting Event Remarks |
Water temp. = 19 C. Traps set at west end of public access area mostly against patch of muskeg. Small stickleback seen moving in shallows. Traps pulled on 12 June at 1045 hr. Results: one quart bottle about 300 sticklebacks. Lots of gravid females and nuptial males. Not that many obviously infected stickleback with Schistocephalus. Heard loon and grebes calling on lake. |
