| Collecting Event Remarks | Water Temp. = 20 C. Current was 11 sec/5 m but most of the sticklebacks came from margin of channel and point upstream where the current was negligable. Fish have a very green tint. Nest guarding male seen. Fish are silver below the lateral surface and green above. Habitat: stream running through sand dunes which is stabilized by vegetation. Caprellids present; gravid females present. Also caught Leptocottus armatus, cottid, Platichthys sp. and Gambusia sp. | ||||||
