m, f, juveniles. Fixed in 10% buffered (dolomite) formalin ~1 month. |
Collecting Event Remarks |
Water temp. = 16 C. Rana aurora seen, many crayfish seen. Fish were seined in three consecutive pools separated by riffles. In each pool a deep hole at the top contained numerous trout ranging in size up to 15 cm. Small fish thrown back. Males in nuptial coloration. Taricha seen. Most brightly colored males had faint red posterior to pectoral fin. Also caught Oncorhynchus mykiss, Cottus asper, and Lampetra tridentata. |
