| Collecting Event Remarks | Water temp. = 22 C. Only captured about 75 G. aculeatus; nothing else but leeches, dragonfly naiads and dytiscids. One gravid female and 4 males in good condition collected. A number of other males were in very bad condition. No fry seen. All 11 traps put back into lake at 2145 on 20 June. Traps pulled on 22 June at 2020 hr. About 60 G. aculeatus present and 30 of the smaller, healthier-looking ones collected live; remainder preserved. | ||||||
