m, f, juveniles. Fixed in 10% buffered (dolomite) formalin ~1 month. |
Collecting Event Remarks |
Water Temp. = 22 C. A segment of stream impounded behind a dirt road. It is drained by 2 culverts, one of which is flowing very slightly. Pool is 60% covered with algae. Very few gravid females [Gasterosteus aculeatus] and no males with fully developed nuptial coloration. No fry. Also caught Gambusia affinis, Gila orcutti, and unknown cyprinid. |
