Collecting Event Remarks |
Water Temp. = 21 C. Gasterosteus aculeatus extremely abundant in this area of stream which has shrunken considerably probably concentrating the fish. No males with nuptial coloration nor gravid females seen. The fish were so abundant that most were thrown back from first seine haul. Thus the sample may be unintentionally biased in favor of large fish. Also caught Gila orcutti and Catostomus sp. |
