| Collecting Event Remarks | Water temp. = 18 C. This is a very isolated pool along a cliff face. The stream is almost entirely dry for several hundred meters downstream. The pool is probably always in shade, accounting for the low temp and high density of sticklebacks. Enough sticklebacks were obtained in 1 seine haul for a complete sample. Some large males had poorly developed nuptial coloration. | ||||||
