Collecting Event Remarks Water temp. = 24 C. Water is so deeply tea stained that meter stick could not be seen below 45 cm depth. This is a slough that joins Brush Creek immediately inland of a beach dunes. We did not notice this last summer and judging from abundance of sticklebacks, much of the habitat must have survived the drought. The flow from here may have caused high frequency of low plated fish in the lagoon. Tadpoles seen. Cottus thrown back, all sticklebacks kept. Also caught Leptocottus armatus, Cottus asper, Platichthys stellatus, and Oncorhynchus mykisss.
