| Collecting Event Remarks | Water temp. = 18.0 C. Sticklebacks very abundant, including males and females in reproductive conditions. Females gravid but none ripe. But no newly-hatched fry seen in algae seined up. Males were bright blue with red extending as far back as cloaca. Specimens came from deeper still water against cliff face. A bag with fish bones given MAB86-6 came from about 3 m up cliff and appears to be from heron regurgitation. Also caught Cottus asper (?) and Oncorhynchus mykiss. | ||||||
