m, f, juveniles. Fixed in 10% buffered (dolomite) formalin ~1 month. |
Collecting Event Remarks |
Water temp. = 23.4 C. The majority of Gasterosteus come from sand flats with little algae just behind beach. No reproductive or newly hatched YOY seen. Sticklebacks very abundant near beach and many fish <25 mm SL thrown back. Many of other species except Platichthys thrown back too. Also caught Eucyclogobius newberryi, Cottus asper, and Platichthys stellatus. |
