1933-35 | Enterprise Engineering Company formed by Rietz. Four disintegrators built at Enterprise Foundry Corporation, 2902 Folsom Street, San Francisco. A separate design office, Hershel-Rietz, maintained by Rietz for developing new disintegrator designs located in the Call Building, San Francisco. | |
Jan. 31, 1935 | Agreement between Rietz and Enterprise Foundry Corp. designating Enterprise as exclusive manufacturer and seller of Rietz Disintegrators. | |
April 1, 1936 | Above agreement terminated and replaced by non-exclusive license agreement to manufacture and sell disintegrators under the name "Enterprise Disintegrator." Agreement is again terminated upon reaching sales of $50,000. | |

Rietz forms his own company, Process Machinery Company, to manufacture and sell disintegrators. Three successive locations in San Francisco: 329 Tehama Street, 324 Langton Street, and 950 Bryant Street. |

March 25, 1941 | Rietz purchases Jos. Wagner Company (est. in 1867) located at 441 Folsom Street, San Francisco, for $15,000 plus $10 for the machinery. "Process Machinery Co." and "Technalectric Co." become divisions of Jos. Wagner Company. | |
Jan. 20, 1948 | The Jos. Wagner Company is incorporated by Rietz. | |
May 2, 1949 | Jos. Wagner Company is renamed Rietz Manufacturing Company. | |
1949 | Marin Steel Company established in Old Capital Fish Co. at McNears Point, San Rafael, California, to manufacture Rietz products. | |
Jan. 3, 1951 | Property at 150 Todd Road, Santa Rosa, California, purchased. | |
August 1951 | Rietz Manufacturing Company moves to Santa Rosa. The main office is completed in Jan. 1952. | |
1954 | Rietz Disintegrator first produced in England. | |
1956 | Property purchased for Westchester, Pennsylvania, office. | |
1962 | P and L Machine Company located in Anaheim, California, purchased. | |
