Georef. Remarks | From records (Meek 1904) and personal communication with CD Barbour, Meek was traveling by rail. Meek collected all these specimens on 23 May 1903. Locality was previously estimated at 24deg5min North (24.08333), 104deg45min West (-104.75) (see UMMZ65228, Field number Z65228, previously IU10933, a Characodon lateralis). Furthermore, Meek was at Lerdo, Dgo., two days before (May 21st) (see Meek 1904, p. xxix). This location respects all of these references, and includes estimates with Mexican INEGI maps. |
