Specimen Remarks |
The holotype was designated in the original description as “the type, 17 cm long” (p. 2057), SU 5662 (p. 2058). The designation of a lectotype by Kanayama (1991:78) is invalid. Specimen USNM 48251 (ca. 170 mm TL) is actually the holotype, and SU 5662 (ca. 100 mm TL) the paratype. |
