Georef. RemarksThe main river at Celaya is the Rio Laja, or "Rio de la Laja", which is an affluent of the Lerma (it joins the Lerma at (20.51997, -101.07012), about 12 km. SE from Salamanca along the railroad. There appear to be three tributaries to the Rio Laja at Celaya; Marker placed at the "middle" tributary (name not found). Top (Northern, "R. Queretaro") and Bottom (Southern, "Arroyo El Varal") tributaries are at the respective ends of the Polygon. River loops around SE side of city, and flows W into R. Lerma.
