| Georef. Remarks | NOTE: All of these records have the name of the river wrong. It is not "Tesechocan", or "Tesochocan"; the correct name is TESECHOAC N (accented A). Please correct. Also, no town called "Perez" found along river, although I followed it upstream on 1:50,000 maps until Arroyo Montenegro in Oaxaca. Closest is "Perez y Jimenez" in Rio Papaloapan, 13.4 km (8.33 mi) river-miles downstream from were R.Tesechoacán meets R.Papaloapan, at Isla El Gavilan. Marker placed there. | ||||||
