TRR had designated these as MS paratypes of *Sundasalanx mekongensis*, but the name was published by Britz & Kottelat in 1999. These are not types of Britz & Kottelat, but may still be MS types of a now unnamed TRR species. (D. Catania, 9 Apr. 2004). |
