Georef. RemarksRio Verde (originating in Zacatecas) is the same river as Rio San Pedro (also in Zacatecas), which is called "Rio de Aguascalientes" as it passes the city of the same name. A few miles south, it is joined by Rio or Arroyo Morcinique (from Tamayo, J (1949), "Geografia General de Mexico", Tomo II, page 334).
