Current status: Valid as Barbucca elongata Vasil'eva & Vasil'ev 2013. Barbuccidae. Distribution: Southeast Asia: Phu Quoc Island, Gulf of Thailand, Vietnam and possibly southeast Thailand. Habitat: freshwater.
