In one of two copies at CAS the specific name is clearly spelled rapensis; we suspect the rapensis spelling was first, and then changed to capensis as Petromizon was changed to Petromyzon on p. 1513. Compagno & Heemstra 2007:43 [ref. 29194] mention Temerara hardwickii of Tirant 1929 [p. 75 or reimpression] -- it is not an original description but a misspelling of Temera. Compagno & Heemstra date to 1929, a reimpression of Tirant 1885.
