Not available from Sideleva 2001:67 [ref. 26181], two included species after 1930 with no designation of a type species (Art. 13.3). Dates to Sideleva 2003:191 [ref. 27815] where a type species was designated. •Treated as valid and dating to Sideleva 2001 -- (Kontula et al. 2003:149 [ref. 26791], Sideleva 2003:15 [ref. 26181]). •Valid as Cyphocottus Sideleva 2003 -- (Bogutskaya & Naseka 2004:197 [ref. 28183], Goto et al. 2014:3 [ref. 33456] but should be in Cottidae, P. 17). Current status: Valid as Cyphocottus Sideleva 2003. Cottidae.
