Su et al. 2001:134 [ref. 25463] apparently were unaware that Zhang 2000:266 [ref. 25071] based on Article 70.3.2 fixed the type species of Parasinilabeo as Parasinilabeo assimilis Wu & Yao 1977 (formerly based on a misidentified type species). Pararectoris was therefore unneeded. The same fixation and conclusions were reached by Kottelat & Zhang 2003:224 [ref. 27389]. •Objective synonym of Parasinilabeo Wu 1939 -- (Huang et al. 2007:531 [ref. 29347], Kottelat 2013:156 [ref. 32989]). Current status: Synonym of Parasinilabeo Wu 1939. Cyprinidae: Labeoninae.
