Type by original designation. •Synonym of Austrolebias Costa 1998, but a valid subgenus as described. •Valid as Argolebias Costa 2008 -- (Alonso et al. 2023:8 [ref. 40292], Alonsa et al. 2024:298 [ref. 40863]). Current status: Valid as Argolebias Costa 2008. Rivulidae: Cynolebiinae.
