Type implied from text, Trichophasia and Trachicephalus were both used by Swainson for same taxon; Gill (1905:224 [ref. 1789]) acts as first reviser, selecting Trachicephalus. •Objective synonym of Trachicephalus Swainson 1839 -- (Eschmeyer & Rama-Rao 1973:372 [ref. 6391], Mandrytsa 2001:265 [ref. 25636], Kottelat 2013:316 [ref. 32989]).
