Apparently an unneeded replacement for Corvina Cuvier 1829. •Synonym of Sciaena Linnaeus 1758 -- (Trewavas 1973:396 [ref. 7201], Parenti 2020:49 [ref. 37439]). Current status: Synonym of Sciaena Linnaeus 1758. Sciaenidae.
