Misspelled Aclyptosteron in Day 1877:499 [ref. 4886] and by Günther, and unjustifiably emended to Euclyptosternum by Günther 1864:183 [ref. 1974]. •Synonym of Glyptothorax Blyth 1860 -- (Li 1986:522 [ref. 6132], Chu in Chu et al. 1999:119 [ref. 24534], Jayaram 2006:207 [ref. 28762] as Aclyptosternon and dated to 1863, Thomson & Page 2006:40 [ref. 28859], Ferraris 2007:387 [ref. 29155], Kottelat 2013:223 [ref. 32989]).
