Objectively invalid; preoccupied by Fowlerina Pelseneer 1906 in Mollusca, replaced by Ephippicharax Fowler 1913. •In the synonymy of Poptella Eigenmann 1908 -- (Reis 1989:18 [ref. 14219], Taphorn 1992:302 [ref. 23654], Reis in Reis et al. 2003:210 [ref. 27061]). 1°Homonym.
