Objectively invalid; preoccupied by Nybelinia Poche 1925 in tapeworms (see Whitley 1976:48 [ref. 4735]). Whitley intended a new genus and provided a new family name Roachiidae; Whitley's new generic names were removed by the editor (see p. 50). (The name Roachiidae is unavailable, not based on an available generic name.) •In the synonymy of Nybelinella Nielsen 1972, replacement for Nybelinia -- (Nielsen 1973:555 [ref. 6885], Cohen & Nielsen 1978:62 [ref. 881], Nielsen & Cohen in Nielsen et al. 1999:136 [ref. 24448], Møller et al. 2016:Appendix A [ref. 34432] in Bythitidae). 1°Homonym.
