Trimma is neuter, species nigrimenta is apparently correctly nigrimentum and urospila apparently should be urospilum. •Valid as Paratrimma Hoese & Brothers 1976 -- (Hoese & Larson 2010:374 [ref. 31045], Parenti 2021:208 [ref. 38603]). Current status: Valid as Paratrimma Hoese & Brothers 1976. Gobiidae: Gobiinae.
